Goodbye, Charlie!
Snow. I don't even know why I live in the North East. I hate the cold. I hate the snow. I hate digging my car out. You know, I write about this every year so I'm not surprised all it took was a dusting of snow to bring this out in me. Actually, it wasn't the snow. Well, it was (I hate snow) but it was the sight of an early-90s Miata covered in snow. And all I could think was, I could steal that car and it's goobye, Charlie! Of course, I'd be a felon. But, man, I'd be cruising down to.. down to… No Snow Land, where ever that is. This fantasy was enough to keep me warm until I got home to a nice hot cup of coffee. I see Jason recently reviewed the 2006 Mazda Miata, but I can't swing nearly $26k (in this particular fantasy) so what's a guy to do? Go used! In my area there are 16 Miatas available for under $9,000. Anyone out there pick up a used Miata? What were your experiences?
