Prices have to fall for Fuel-Cell to be accepted in a mass market. This was the statement by Honda Motor Co. Takeo Fukui in the WSJ yesterday. Unfortunately low-emission cars such as gas-electric hybrids and diesel vehicles just happen to be more popular.

WOE! Did I hear that right. Someone is stating that diesel has better emissions. Music to my ears as I spark up my F350 today to make a run into town. Now if we can only get the diesel prices to come back down. Don't you know they are about 1 USD MORE than regular gas? Now I ask, who in their right mind is going to pay that much more for gas? Not me, as I sold one of my diesels two months ago when the price difference started to creep.

Well, the other major problem with mass market on the fuel-cell cars is the lack of hydrogen service stations. I know there aren't any in my neck of the woods. Don't you know this is still just way to experimental right now as I don't think we have actually found the BEST and SAFEST way to fill-up with hydrogen yet.
