Frightful Cars List 2007

There are just so many, but here's the top three for 2007…
Acura RL
Possessing all the visual drama of a late 90s Accord, Honda's luxury line flagship is wallowing in the darkest dungeons of U.S. consumer apathy.
Acura's own dealers have readied the torches and pitchforks to march on the corporate windmill for want of eight cylinders, but I say that's no cure for ugly.
Burn it down.
BMW X3
Someone in Spartanburg clearly didn't get the company memo that anything that wears the Roundel badge is supposed to be well built, luxurious, and refined.
The X3 is none of those things. It is rather like a hairy-man-beast; savage and likely to be shot by frightened onlookers.
Fetch the Holland & Holland and make sure those shells are silver tipped!
Mercedes-Benz R-Class
A frightful carryover from last year's list, the R-Class is like a bad horror movie sequel.
In Not-Another-Badge-Engineered-Benz XII, an innocent couple walk into a seemingly innocuous MB dealer with the aim to spend sixty large on some SUV. They are confronted by a sinister salesman who unleash the horrific spectacle of a car company gone mad with desire for market capitalization.
Girl clutches guy and after a brief struggle of will, the couple succumbs to the mind crushing Twilight Zone of infinite trim options for their R350 minivan.
