Four Door Action!

Since all the auto manufacturers are in a pony-car making frenzy, I want to throw something else into the mix in the hopes it just gets made by accident: a 4-door convertible.
Here I am reading some sites and I come across a non-production Peugeot convertible. But it's got four doors! Now that is something special.
There was a time when Lincoln made a 4-door convertible and I think it's time that someone, maybe lincoln, reinstates this model pronto. I don't claim to know what kind of sales figures something like this would bring, but it'd have the market to itself. And based on what Lincoln has been up to lately, they sure need a good shot in the arm.

Bob, I loved the Lincoln 4 door drop top. Did you see, the ASC Helios? A 4 door drop top based on the Chrysler 300, too bad Chrysler didn’t build that.
As much as I love Ford (Lincoln and Mercuy) They don’t have the stones to do it. They need to do something, but they will just crank out more badge engineered Mazda and Volvo clones with all wheel drive and no soul.
