Ford plans to introduce a new, compact (midsized to European standards) 4X4 called the "Kuga" to the European market. First introduced at the Paris Auto Show as the Iosis X, FoMoCo believes it has a strong enough interest to sell as many as 60,000 Kugas a year.
To be assembled in Germany, the handsome SUV will be based upon the Blue Oval's C1 platform that currently underpins the Focus and Volvo S40 sedans.
Plan on a Euro only launch in Spring of next year. And once again Ford's best stays on the other side of the Pond.
