Usually the school officials at Oceanside, California hold a series of mock deaths around teenage drunk driving. The whole student body knows about it, accepts it, and you would think look forward to it as the grim reaper pulls students out of class to participate.

Not so this year. This year the evens were hush-hush, with a select group of student participants, total support from the local sherrifs department, students nearly scared the death out of some of their classmates. Can you imagine the hysteria caused if you were to see your best friend sprawled across a car, full of blood, assumed dead, and then a death sheet covering you?

All I have to say, is they got what they wanted. To scare kids to death. In my neck of the woods that is borderline child abuse. I sure hope they got parental consent.
