"Green" has officially taken over motorsport. The color that's now w-i-d-e-l-y used as an adjective to describe all things purportedly Earth friendly is now the theme of Honda's own Formula One racing team.
As part of a new ecologically minded marketing campaign, Honda is asking fans to donate cash to a charity of their choice of those listed on their site myearthdream.com. In return, Honda will print the names of all those who donate onto the company's new F1 race car – aka – RA107.
Oh, and as the above picture shows, in lieu of corporate sponsor logos emblazoned on its body, RA107 sports a satellite image of Earth. Honda claims that 2,000,000 tiny signatures can fit onto the vehicle's body.
Honda fans, get those credit cards ready.
