What I am getting at is Zero Emission Vehicles. Isn't that what we should be getting closer to, not another liquid fuel replacement for traditional chemical engines? Many people think that Electric cars have been stymied because of regulations, however I am not one of them. I do have to ask though... is our currently technology ready for a full electric vehicle? I think it is. We have so many types of power generation out there that the cost to run an electric car is at most one-cent per mile, especially if you are just tooling around town. And let's face it guys, a muscle car is just as cool if it is running on electric, petroleum products or McDonalds leftover frying oil. Are we hooked on putting some kind of smelly liquid into our cars?
Maybe another question to ask is, why are we still using this crap? It has been polluting the air, creating chemical messes all over the place and is right now tearing the economy apart, trying to figure out how to avoid paying almost three dollars a gallon for something that we try to avoid touching because it is toxic as all get out. Take a look at these places and tell me that we ain't ready for electric technology to make a flying leap:
"Discover This": If we can build toys that do it why not bigger toys?
"H2CarsBiz Magazine": Of course we do have it out there, and batteries are looking like a thing of the past.
"EV World": Ok, I guess, if you want to spend a lot of money, but it looks as though the price for these wonder cars is coming down a bit
Summary: Is this the wave of the future?
