It all comes back to uncle sam, doesn't it? Dodge, the name appreciated by few outside America, has introduced the Journey - a kind of beefy stationwagon - that is aimed squarely at the Europeans. Except, the fact is that us Americans will get it first.
According to the New York Times' Wheels Blog, the Journey will premiere at car dealerships on this side of the Atlantic early in 2008 as a M.Y. 2009 vehicle.
It's official American intro is set for this November at the Los Angeles Auto Show, but NYT claim to know that the Journey will be basically the same as the Euro version except that we'll get a V6 they won't get in Europe, and that they'll get a turbodiesel sourced by VW Group that we won't get here.
Trade offs. But it still comes back to U.S.
