I'm getting so sick of news about the Chevy volt that I might electrocute myself with one of their batteries. A day doesn't go by without news about a concept that still has not figured out how to be powered by cost prohibitive batteries. 2010 is just around the corner GM.
With that said, GM has actually perfected the Volt, albeit in 1:32 scale
This "first and only replica of the exciting Concept Chevy Volt" is metallic green and has doors that open, GM says. It's being sold in a "promotional replica" limited edition of 7,500. GM notes that the scale models were commissioned by GM and won't be available in stores "with this packaging." Can't wait.
To order the $13.95 Volt, you have to go to the Chevy website there are also posters for sale - at $19.95 - if you would prefer a larger 2D version.
Next thing up. Billy Mays hawking these die casts 2 for $9.99.
