California: Black Cars to be Banned Because they Work Harder than Other Cars?

Now I've seen it all. California has officially lost its law-making mind. They're set to try to pass legislation that will ban black cars. That's right... Black cars.

Why? Because black cars work harder than other light colored cars to cool the occupants. They claim that the black cars absorb heat and make the cooling system work harder to cool the occupants. What if it's cold out?

Wow. Just wow!

Talk about taking the nanny-state mentality to extreme limits. This is simply ridiculous. And as they say, what happens in California will trickle down to all the states.

I can see it now: All roads and highways crossing into Cali will have paint sprayers armed with white paint.

Seems to me that the black cars are absorbing the heat and taking it out of the environment... white cars reflect it all back into the environment- everyone in California should only be able to drive black cars by that logic.

The California lawmakers are simply stupid.
