Let's be honest, the STS is Cadillac's current flagship. The DTS (formerly DeVille) seems to be getting as long in the proverbial tooth as Benz's Gelaendewagen (though the G-Wagen has a potent fan base...but come to think of it so does the DeVille, so there you go). The STS represents the newest and best design that Team Caddy can muster.
And they're mustering more power for their top model according to a recent GM press release. The standard STS variant for 2008 will come with the 302 horsepower Northstar V8 that's been praised time and again by automotive reviewers the world 'round. This represents a 47 horse and two cylinder upgrade from the old standard, 3.6 liter V6.
