BMW Sales Are Up, Up, And Away!

Well, not quite. Year to date sales in these United States are up by a modest but respectable 2.9% over the same period one year ago for BMW Group. That's 2,974 units more, adding up to 104,125 Blue Roundels and MINIs sold in America.
And the numbers for the tough month of April were secure in their positive direction – sales for the BMW marque ose by 0.5%, MINI's sales by 2.1%. Though, it should be said that year-to-date the MINI marque has held the group back by moving 10.5% fewer units.
BMW credits strong sales from the X5 SAV (in BMW speak) and the X3 for driving the numbers in the black.
Overall, the Group's in robust health. Too bad the same couldn't be said of the Blue Oval.
