In sales terms, BMW's sitting pretty at present. Year-to-date sales in May were up by 8.7% for a total of 30,819 units. Sales of "Sports Activity vehicles" rose for their part by 4.5% totalling 5,268 SAVs. And for its li'l part, MINI sales are also up by 12.5%. And while BMW does not post Rolls-Royce sales figures in its press releases, Rolls recently announced that it has sold out on orders for its new convertible - the Phantom Drophead Coupé.
In short, the roundel's on a roll.
