Bentley Motors announced that the Arnage-based Brooklands Coupé which premiered recently at the Geneva Auto Show will be limited to a production of only 550 units.

Bentley aficionados' ears should collectively perk to know that such a low production figure is sure to mean that the new Bentley two-door will quickly gain status as a valuable collectors car whose price is likely to appreciate (rather than the usual converse) in the long run.

Would-be collectors should also know that the Brooklands features the most powerful engine Bentley has yet produced - the classic V-8 that's been in service since time immemorial has been retuned to put out 530 horsepower and a whopping 774 lb-ft of world turning torque.
