Austin Healey Redux?
June 15, 2007 · Posted in Uncategorized

Austin Healey, the venerable British marque that produced glorious 2+2 sportsters in the 60s, went the way of the Hudson and the Hispano Suiza pretty much by the turn of the 70s. It had its day and well, that day may yet come again thanks to the same folks who revived MG Rover from death.
Chinese firm Nanjing Auto has made a deal with the family that owns the rights to the Healey name to revive the marque at some point in the future. But no firm date has been set yet and we should note that American and British production lines for the MG have yet to start.
One step at a time, friends.
