Audi Prepares Stunning 4-Door Coupe

Audi A7 Coupe

Sometimes it seems as though Audi is determined to match Mercedes model for model. This so-called 4-door coupe, named A7, will go up against the Mercedes-Benz CLS in 2008, while the next generation Audi A8 will be 4" longer and offer both a V-12 diesel and a new V-10 gas engine, making it a strong competitor for Mercedes newest S-Class Luxury Sedan. The A7 coupe is based on the A6, according to an article in Autoweek, and includes "a chopped roofline, an aggressive nose design with a radical headlight treatment, and rear door handles hidden within the C-pillar supports."     We never got into the frenzy behind Audi’s A7 four-door coupe until now, but the Audi A7 foor-door coupe will go head-to-head with Mercedes-Benz’s CLS and the two sporty SUVs will most likely be targeted at BMW’s X3 and Mercedes-Benz’s ML-Class.

    I like 4 door Audi A7 too.
    but we should wait still by 2010.

    Late last year Audi revealed the new S5 and A5 Cabrios and the Q5 SUV is already priced and safety-tested for North America. One of the next models Audi plans to bring to market is its A7 four-door coupe, which is scheduled to make its debut late next year as a 2011 model.
