Another GM Mutt

GM adds another mutt using brothers from another mother to create the 2009 Chevrolet Traverse officially unveiled today at the Chicago Auto Show.
The Traverse is another of the Lambda platform created by GM. The Lambda crossover, platform is the Mama to the GMC Acadia, Saturn Outlook and Buick Enclave and now the Chevrolet Traverse.

Chevy says the Traverse takes some styling cues from the wildly successful Malibu mid sized sedan. I wonder if GM would be saying that if the Malibu wasn't wildly successful.
The innards show a 3.6 liter V6 engine, 6-speed automatic transmission, your choice of front-wheel or all-wheel-drive and seating for either seven or eight.

Well, at least Williams Chevrolet in Traverse City Michigan will have something to crow about.
