Another Bad PR Move For Ford

FoMoCo seems to be power sliding through Public Relations road apples so far this year. From news that Ford's new CEO had to cancel his order for a new Lexus; to the recent report that summarized Ford's $12.7 Billion loss last year; to the news that Ford executives may still get bonuses this year despite last year's losses and job cuts; to the most recent stuff to hit the PR fan.

According to Detroit News, Ford will close five Michigan day care facilities that look after some 900 children belonging to the Blue Oval's own Workforce in an effort to cut company costs.

Sounds like a sure fire way not to improve company morale. So much for quality being Job 1 now.
