A Slick Review of the Pontiac Solstice

Colin Hefferon has gradually evolved into one of my favorite road test reviewers. And not just because he's a buddy. When Colin first began testing for the About.com new cars site a few years ago he'd had no experience whatsoever, although a period of his life as driver of a tractor-trailer had certainly honed his driving skills.

I was then the site's "Guide" and felt that Colin could do it, given the chance. In the beginning his work required considerable editing but gradually he learned the tricks and my involvement became less-and-less as each week went by. Eventually Colin needed no such assistance and as his confidence grew so did his style, until today he's right up there with the best of them.

And that's why you might want to read his review of the 2006 Pontiac Solstice. It's Entertaining, it's informative, and where the car's flaws are concerned, holds nothing back. Heck, Colin's writing has become so darned good I'm not sure whether to be proud or jealous!

I appreciate the review of the Solstice, but from your comments I expected Pulitzer Price material! He’s an adequate journalist, but waxes on a little much about how women look in the car and not enough about actually driving the car.
