WOOT! OK all you Fast & Furious want to be's, start saving your cash. The 2008 Skyline GTR, according to Motor Trend, will be the first Skyline to be made in both left and right hand drive models and officially imported into the USA. No word on the price, but expect it to be high. Rumor had it the Skyline would get a V8, but Motor Trend says a twin turbo V6 in either rear wheel or all wheel drive is coming our way. The skyline is likely to be badged as an Infinity to no doubt justify its high price.

Old news, friends. It’s been confirmed for quite some time that the GT-R will be badged as a Nissan, much to the dismay of Infiniti dealers everywhere.
It has also been confirmed that it will be powered by a twin-turbo derivation of the current VQ engine, but it remains unclear as to whether it will be the current displacement of 3.5 or the soon-to-see-production 3.7 liter powerplant.

Unconfirmed reports have it that the Nissan GT-R will be powered by a VR38VETT twin-turbo V6 engine and will be all wheel drive.
