2006 Saleen S7
Saleen started off making some very desirable and customized Mustangs, and still does in fact. however, Saleen became a full fledged exotic car manufacturer with their S7 sports car. The S7 is a fantastic looking machine with vents and louvers and scoops and fins everywhere. None of them are there for show alone, they all have a purpose and a function. So purposeful are they that Saleen says the car produces enough down force at 160 mph that it could drive upside down.
The price of the Saleen S7 is a staggering $555,000. In 2005 only about a dozen of the super cars were built so exclusivity is assured. If a Ferrari or lamborghini is too common for you, give the Saleen S7 a try. Power is provided by a rip snorting 7.0 liter twin turbo charged V8 producing a gargantuan 750 hp and 700 lb.-ft of torque. That much power makes for a 2.8 second 0-60 mph time. That's no typo, 2.8 seconds!
